Moldova's Parliament Speaker Igor Corman on Tuesday discussed with his visiting Georgian counterpart David Usupashvili about their joint European integration efforts, according to news reaching here from Chisinau.
In a joint press briefing held after the meeting, Corman said that they discussed the European course of the two states, the impact of the Association Agreement with the EU on the two countries.
Usupashvili said that his visit to Moldova represented an opportunity to assure once again that the two countries were solidary in fulfilling their European aspirations and tried to help each other as much as possible.
"Both Moldova and Georgia want to find themselves together in an enlarged Europe," Usupashvili said.
Both Moldova and Georgia initiated the Association Agreements with EU in last November, which are to be signed in the current year.
